International Course Electroporation for Medicine: Basic Knowledge, Applications and Technologies
May 30th – June 1st, 2015
Bucharest, Romania
Organizers
- Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy
- Romanian Society of Pure and Applied Biophysics
- Părintele Galeriu Association, Bucharest
- European Program COST Action TD 1104
This course disseminates the latest knowledge and technological innovations on electroporation and its therapeutic and treatment applications: electrochemotherapy, gene electrotransfer, tumor ablation etc.
The course is open to medical doctors in oncology, dermatology, radiodiagnostic, surgical specialities and other professionals from the clinics, but also to medical students,PhD students and researchers in human and veterinary medicine, biology, biotechnology, biophysics-biochemistry.
During three half-days, the course is organized in lectures and tutorials giving the concepts as molecular mechanisms and technological development of electroporation, but focuses mainly on clinical applications.
This course is the main scientific event entirely dedicated to electrochemotherapy held in Romania, and gathers top scientists-clinicians and researchers.
